HISPANIC HISTORY TOURS

Hispanic history tours can be done in many areas across the county. Because Miami, FL has one of the largest Hispanic populations in US, we like to recommend visiting areas full of its rich history. (Click here to request a hispanic tour somewhere else). Below is a list of some of the places to visit when on a hispanic tour in Miami.

  • Hispanic City Tour of Miami via land– Learn about this multicultural city founded in the 1800’s. Discover how many Cubans emigrated here and why they increased in population.
  • Hispanic City Tour of Miami via boat– Cruise Miami’s Biscayne Bay and view some of the biggest homes you will ever see. Sit back and relax as we narrate the city’s history too.
  • Little Havana-Named after the largest city in Cuba, Little Havana is a famous spot for many of Miami’s largest festivals such as Carnival Miami, Cultural Fridays, the Three Kings Parade and others. Some of the festivals are aired on TV to millions of people every year. You may also want to stop at Little Havana’s landmarks, including Calle Ocho and its Walkway of the Stars.
  • Cuban Cuisine for Dinner– Try some shredded flank steak with white rice and black beans at local hot restaurants. The dish is a national feature in Cuba, yet you can try it in Miami while on your tour.
  • Museums- Visit the Latin American Art Museum and the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museums. These museums have a special collection of Hispanic art. Get an education while visualizing some of the most amazing artwork in the area.
